A ferromagnetic solution for the 2D extended Hubbard model was found by means of a fully self-consistent approximation enforcing Pauli symmetry constraints. The magnetic phase diagram of the model, respect to the paramagnetic-ferromagnetic transition, was studied as function of the filling and the Coulomb interaction strength. The transition turns out to be the first order.

Abstract

A ferromagnetic solution for the 2D extended Hubbard model was found by means of a fully self-consistent approximation enforcing Pauli symmetry constraints.
