In this paper we observe the behavior of mechanical systems constituted by some bodies within a rigid box when the number of the bodies and the initial conditions (distribution of energy of the system and positions) are not fixed. In this way it is possible to evaluate some variables, when the dynamic equilibrium is reached, and compute which measures can be invariant in different cases. If the total mass and the total energy of the system are constant, whereas the number of the bodies grows, the dimension of the bodies reduces with the same density and so the limit behavior of the involved measures can be observed when we pass from the macroscopic world to the microscopic world. So it is possible to get information about the connections among macroscopic measures (e.g. pressure) and microscopic quantities (e.g. the medium number of the collisions on the walls of the box). On the other hand, if the total energy of the system changes and the number of the bodies is fixed, it is possible to get the relations among the involved measures. We have implemented a package which allows the simulation of the described systems in order to “see” the previous procedures.
