The account on the stasis at Delphi of Arist. fr. 611,52 Rose belongs to the Magneton Politeia according to the Heraklidean transmission, not to the Delphon Politeia as some scholars say: the Magneton Politeia, concerning that stasis, should have concisely used the literature and the traditions collected for the Delphon Politeia. It involves the question about the collection and circulation, within the Aristotle 's School, of these literature and traditions about poleis and ethne: in the School the drafting of the Politeiai is, in some way, the beginning of the overcoming of the local perspective, which will be achieved in the Politics.

Abstract

The account on the stasis at Delphi of Arist. fr. 611,52 Rose belongs to the Magneton Politeia according to the Heraklidean transmission, not to the Delphon Politeia as some scholars say: the Magneton Politeia, concerning that stasis, should have concisely used the literature and the traditions collected for the Delphon Politeia.
