The electromagnetic structure of a quantized flux line is investigated, in the framework of the boson transformation method, for the cases of a semi-infinite superconductor and of a superconducting film of arbitrary thickness. The vortex-antivortex interaction energy is also computed. Comparison with previous results is given.
