In commenting the chapters of this section, I will avoid the simple summing up of what the authors have already said and the readers have already read. Despite it makes me in the condition to appear impolite towards the contributors as well as the editors who invite me, no reason why to be a diligent and more or less benevolent commentator of what has been already widely discussed. With a bit fortune the result would be an enriched refrain of others’ words. So, let me follow, instead, the multiple echoes that the reading of all the chapters at once provoked to me. Notwithstanding the contributions are very diverse, they shared a common topical issue that is the dynamics of identity in the macro-social transformation of our globalized world. Mainly, they are about migration. By picking up and expanding some convergent themes among the chapters, this commentary aims to contribute towards a theoretical understanding, from the Cultural Psychology perspective, of being on the move as a human movement across borders and dialogicality of encounters with the other.
