In the last decade the use of data deriving from the differential interferometric processing of images acquired by spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (DInSAR) was successfully tested for the analysis of ground displacements induced by subsidence phenomena. The present paper shows how the appropriate use of DInSAR data acquired by sensors with different ground resolutions can provide valuable contributions in analyzing at different scales structures and infrastructures affected by settlements. The continuous enhancements of both sensor acquisition characteristics and image processing algorithms hold the promise for a standardized use in common practice of land planning and management.
