Abstract

Starting from quaestio conv. 616A, this paper aims to revisit the concept of Psyche in the Plutarchean texts, including fragments. The apparent opposition of De Iside et Osiride (the reference is to the text of the Laws of Pltao, X 896D) and De animae procreation in Timaeo about the theory of the soul is caused by the structural difference between the two works.
