This study investigates the interconnectedness of Digital Sustainability (DS) and Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR), through a dual-track systematic literature review, analyzing 202 scholarly works from Web of Science and Scopus. The review is based both on bibliometric and content analyses in order to map current knowledge on these two theoretical constructs. By collecting and comparing definitions and key topics, the review revealed that DS and CDR are treated separately in the current literature, missing their potential synergies—DS often overlooks ethical implications, while CDR neglects broader sustainability impacts. However, notable convergences emerged, leading to the development of an integrated Corporate Digital Sustainability (CDS) framework. This framework leverages digital technologies as a cross-cutting enabler and systematizes values, objectives, dimensions, practices, and aspects to guide corporations in navigating the complexities of digital sustainability while achieving responsible digital progress. The study concludes by proposing a research agenda to guide future explorations in this promising direction.
