The upcrossing problem through preassigned boundaries for non-stationary Gauss-Markov processes is studied with a view to model single neuron's activity. A special care is devoted to the analysis of the behavior of the obtained densities in the limit of diverging correlation times. The results of some numerical computation for various choices of the parameters are finally presented.

Abstract
