Il saggio presentato è una ricostruzione del profilo del filosofo francese con un’attenzione marcata a una parte dei manoscritti inediti curati dall’autrice del saggio e qui proposti in lettura teoretica. Ne deriva una riflessione che fa emergere come Merleau-Ponty, scavando la dimensione del corpo proprio e ritornando alle pagine dedicate alla duplicità inesauribile del tatto, spinga fino all’estremo gli esiti fenomenlogici husserliani e rintracci nel concetto di carne la funzione anonima, la matrice, il ritmo, l’apertura del mondo intesa come deiscenza, scarto, mancanza. La carne risulta essere così il punto zero del dispiegarsi di ogni zona sensibile, punto zero d’entrata e d’uscita di ogni senso tattile, visivo, espressivo, linguistico. This essay proposes a reconstruction of the profile of the French philosopher Merleau-Ponty with particular attention paid to his unpublished manuscripts that have been treated by the author and are now offered for theoretical discussion. A reflection emerges from Merleau-Ponty’s idea of the body and his delicate discussion the inexhaustible duplicity of touch. His concept pushes Husserlian’s phenomenological thought to the extreme in that the flesh has an unconscious function and provides a matrix, rhythm and an opening to the world. Flesh is a dehiscence, an absence, something that can be discarded. It is where every sensitive area begins to open-a point zero where all touch, sight, expression and linguistics enters and exits.
