Abstract
A simple application of operator algebra is considered in order to deal with a typical problem of electrostatics: a spherical conductor embedded in a uniform external field. Laplace equation in vacuum is solved by means of this powerful technique in a very elegant form. Field lines of the electrostatic field in presence of the conductor are derived.File in questo prodotto:
