The present paper is aimed to shed new light on the role played by some parameters (such as the amount of steel rebar, yielding stress, FRP-to-Rebar ratio, load pattern) that are not yet included in the most accepted formulae for evaluating the maximum axial strain devel-oped in FRP at debonding. The above mentioned parameters, along with other ones already accepted in the current formulations (namely, fracture energy and FRP specific axial strain), have to be used for determining a more accurate formulation for preventing debonding failure.

Abstract
The present paper is aimed to shed new light on the role played by some parameters (such as the amount of steel rebar, yielding stress, FRP-to-Rebar ratio, load pattern) that are not yet included in the most accepted formulae for evaluating the maximum axial strain devel-oped in FRP at debonding. The above mentioned parameters, along with other ones already accepted in the current formulations (namely, fracture energy and FRP specific axial strain), have to be used for determining a more accurate formulation for preventing debonding failure.File in questo prodotto:
