The combined effect of beam-to-column joint semi-rigidity and partial interaction throughout the beams is considered in the present paper in order to quantify their relative importance in affecting the global behaviour of partially restrained composite frames (PR-frames). A specific finite element model formulated by the authors in a previous paper is able to explicitly simulate partial interaction in composite beams and will be utilized in the analyses.

Abstract
The combined effect of beam-to-column joint semi-rigidity and partial interaction throughout the beams is considered in the present paper in order to quantify their relative importance in affecting the global behaviour of partially restrained composite frames (PR-frames). A specific finite element model formulated by the authors in a previous paper is able to explicitly simulate partial interaction in composite beams and will be utilized in the analyses.File in questo prodotto:
