In this paper we consider noise impact of train transits in the framework of low velocity regimes, especially in proximity of a railway station, from the point of view of environmental impact observed in the neighbourhood of the station. In particular we will analyze such a setting by means of a predictive software confronting the algorithmic simulations with the experimental results obtained from noise measurements detected on a building facade, close to a railway station at night time.
