The Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) technique is extended to the reconstruction of the radiated field on a planar surface from the knowledge of its nonuniformly spaced samples having a plane-polar arrangement. First, SVD is used to evaluate the uniformly distributed samples, whose position is fixed by a nonredundant sampling representation of the field. Second, the field at any observation point is efficiently obtained by applying the Optimal Sampling Interpolation (OSI) expansion of central type.

Abstract
The Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) technique is extended to the reconstruction of the radiated field on a planar surface from the knowledge of its nonuniformly spaced samples having a plane-polar arrangement. First, SVD is used to evaluate the uniformly distributed samples, whose position is fixed by a nonredundant sampling representation of the field. Second, the field at any observation point is efficiently obtained by applying the Optimal Sampling Interpolation (OSI) expansion of central type.File in questo prodotto:
