Abstract
An effective technique to estimate the voltage data external to the near field measurement region ill the cylindrical scanning is developed ill this work. It is based oil the nonredundant sampling representations of the electromagnetic field and uses the singular value decomposition method for extrapolating the outside samples. It is so possible to reduce signficantly the unavoidable truncation errors ill the cylindrical near field - far field transformations. Numerical examples, assessing the accuracy of the technique and its stability with respect to random errors affecting the data, are presented.File in questo prodotto:
