This Volume is the collection of both experimental and theoretical results obtained within two Research Projects PRIN 2005: (i) “Innovative techniques and strategies for seismic upgrading of existing RC structures” (Ciro Faella) and (ii) “Structural refurbishment and safeguarding of historical buildings by reversible mixed techniques” (Federico Mazzolani). Both Projects were sponsored by the Italian Ministry for Research and Education and developed during the years 2005-2007.
