Abstract
The evolution of a population whose size is described by a first order stochastic differential equation is investigated. Starting with a deterministic regulated growth model, a parameterization is made that implies random fluctuations of the population's carrying capacity. Contrary to other instances discussed in the current literature, for a Gompertz growth model it is proved that persistence of the population in the environment is independent of the intensity of the environmental fluctuationsFile in questo prodotto:
