Abstract

The politic-institutional world has been addressing particular attention to the search for useful strategies to encourage economic resilience/stability (a pertinent example is the fierce ideological battle in act on the issue in the United States, not to mention the recent analyses put in place by OECD in 2013). In this context, the purpose of our paper is to show how creative districts can represent an instrument/tool for sustaining the shift from processes of growth based on principles of sustainability to those guaranteeing economic resilience/stability (within the framework of the Decision of the European Commission C/2012/208 relative to European Creative Districts).
