This research work puts into discussion a process to obtain 3D digital parametric models starting from real models surveyed with 3D laser scanner. When used on Reverse Engineering, this application Works as a complement of the laser survey within a parametric CAD concept, leading to more efficient results compared to mesh models obtanined through a basic laser survey. In industry environments, this models can be used a virtual mock ups, in order to redesign machine parts and as starting point to design parts and assemblies, within other applications. This line of research belongs to the project “Técnicas de relevamiento no convencionales para la representación gráfica de naturaleza técnica. Aplicaciones en el campo de la ingeniería inversa, el diseño industrial y la conservación de patrimonio (Part II)”, approved for the Programa Nacional de Incentivos, para el período 2014-2017. On the other hand, the results obtained will be useful on the teaching of technical drawing in engineering as an input for the creation of parametric morphological alternatives with high didactic value in courses of technical project processes. The work highlights the process applied for the generation of the model from one machine part as well as examples for several other models of different shapes.

Abstract
The work highlights the process applied for the generation of the model from one machine part as well as examples for several other models of different shapes.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
