This discrepancy is in restricted economy of cultural memory in Modernity, based on the destruction and forgetfulness, about removing what is owed to what is denied, actually the error. This shift is affirmed as a tradition of the new, as progress -even in the history of philosophy or science- although Descartes and Locke, eponyms of Modernity, become such precisely because they have risen rather than added, revoked rather than risk, eliminated rather than taught. The metaphorics of architecture could be themed in relation not so much to the transcendental foundation, as a tacit model of historicity and historiography, valid in the modern philosophy of the subject and later in the anti- or post-modern, anti- or post-metaphysics. It is really hard a history of philosophy without authors and proper names, or a history of ideas and culture without a gallery of portraits and coats of arms or emblems. So, in the name of Descartes and Kant, you can rewrite the history of philosophy as a tale about philosopher as an architect, and oppose the formation of the living shell to a new construction ex tabula rasa.

Abstract

ENGLISH The relationship between error and philosophy is a successful test in order to assess the differences between Ancient and Modern. So think Leopardi, who diagnoses a discordant relationship between originality, intellectual discovery or invention, and its usefulness in the short and long term.
