We aimed to investigate the effects of exposure to extremely low frequency magnetic field (150 Oe, 75 Hz) on the viability and the environmental stress influence on biological system of bacterial strain Streptomyces coelicolor. Treated sample was compared with a reference one placed in the same conditions outside the magnetic field. The number of colony forming units (CFU) and photometric assay to determination of catalase activity were used to quantify the results.
