Abstract
Living and city are two inseparably linked words, if it’s true that the city is a collective human construction in which a community shapes a common idea of living. Therefore, every city builds its own form time after time, even through the form of its houses, which are expressed by the ways of living a community develops in its history. Understanding and interpreting some possible variations and meanings of living in relation to a specific theme of architecture has been the goal of the course of Architecture and Architectural Design I at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Salerno: students’ task was to investigate the theme of living from three possible points of view: the collective housing, the hotel and the students housing. The selected sites for these projects are three small void areas in the historic centre of Naples, in the Montesanto district.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
