Humanismus und Kosmopolitismus

There is a close link between Humanism and Cosmopolitanism, both from historical and theoretical point of view. The paper will contribute to understand this link also by asking what can a cosmopolitan education be. Assuming that humanism is worldy wisdom, which basically consists in the learnimg how to use knowledge to improve human co-existence (not just human life!), it will be shown why things are this way and why this learning ‒ or philosophical attitude ‒ becomes even more urgent in the global age, where human and non-human beings, different people and cultures are compelled to cohabit without borders.
