Abstract
The question is: when something is a work of art, is it identical to the question of when an interpretation of a thing is an artistic interpretation? The interpretation, which would first of all aim at maximizing the artistic value of the work. An interpretation can be creative, but it remains an interpretation, it is not a work. One can also ask if the interpretation can change the meaning of a work, which, curiously, would mean, again, create it. The paper discusses these problems and forms of ambiguity between artwork and interpretation, text and reading, and so on, focusing on the boundaries of contemporary hermeneutics as philosophical theory and methodology of interpretation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
