For the development of humanity educational processes take on a strategic role, and reflection on education cannot be focused only on the educational process itself, it must be directed to the relationship between education and society. The sociology of education considers the link between the facts and the educational processes and the social reality that includes all the dimen¬sions constituting the society itself. For the peculiarity of the contribution we will examine the theory of morphogenesis proposed by Archer who affir¬med the simultaneous presence of several factors and levels in the process of defining the educational goals and characteristics of the educational system that must face different problems when the context becomes more com¬plex requiring more incisive measures for the development of individuals through the elimination or reduction of obstacles that may impede this path (possible role of agency).
