Despite a brilliant and intense career as an architect and town planner, Plinio Marconi was not, until today, taken into consideration from the historiography. Through the study of archival sources, are studied projects drawn up in Campania territory from this protagonist of architectural culture and town planning between 1940 and 1960. Will be analyzed both projects not realized as the Houses of the Youth of the Littorio (in Capua and Aversa) and new stadium of Salerno, both interventions carried out, like the various districts and the General Master Plan of Salerno, in order to rediscover the professional and intellectual figure of an engineer who has actively contributed to the architectural debate alongside personalities such as Giovannoni or Piacentini.
