The paper aims to examine some oracular labels from Dodona concerning the Adriatic city of Pharos. they are eight inscriptions, two included in the corpus of Lhote and six published by Dakaris-christidis-Vokotopoulou. the paper examines the possibility that they may in part relate to the foundation of Pharos by greek settlers from the Aegean island of Paros.
