Our study focused primarily on two of the most important antecedents of the job crafting theory, meaning the job autonomy and the job security. Through the administration of 26 qualitative interviews we concluded that the dynamics of job crafting are more affected by these antecedents already studied by Hackman and Oldham (1976) and Berg, Wrzesniewski, and Dutton (2010) in particular.
