The Marzotto factory in Salerno was one of the most important experience of the textile production in Campania. It was built in 1958 on the seafront of Salerno, and closed in 1983. Actually, the factory is abandoned and rundown. The hypothesis of conversion is aimed at the production of regenerated wool, in order to re-give a recognizable place in the city.

Abstract

The Marzotto factory in Salerno was one of the most important experience of the textile production in Campania. It was built in 1958 on the seafront of Salerno, and closed in 1983.
