Media, Migrants and Human Rights. In the Evolution of the European Scenario of Refugees’ and Asylum Seekers’ Instances

This volume collects the reflections of those who work on new migrations. The goal is to give voice to reasonable thoughts about the processes of globalization of migration, refugees, asylum seekers, and the “bloody” Mediterranean. Reflections on human rights and their state of application, reflections on migrants and the media-system. Reflections guided by the will to understand and not to generate fear. Studies far from slogans, research based on data collected through scientific methods, in short, human glances. The chapters of this volume discuss research projects, observations, and studies on phenomena that are not, then, so far from us.
