Abstract

The contribution starts from the consideration that among the causes of the migrations there are market speculations, dictated by the increase of the anthropic pressure in relation to the ground and to the freshwater resources at global scales. These situations determine, in some countries of the world, the forced removal of land and water from local communities, used for the production of food or agro-fuels destined to investor countries. These phenomena, known by the terms of land grabbing and water grabbing, represent elements of very strong conflict, an expression of the fulfillment of situations in which the geography of the places determines the fulfillment of geopolitics and, in this case of the induced migrations.
