One of themost interesting problemthat astronomy has given to theoretical physics is that of Dark Matter, invoked to explain the anomaly in the rotation curves of galaxies. Today, the most of astronomers think that each galaxy has a halo of Dark Matter and different theories, from particle physics to modified gravity, provide a theoretical explanation. Here we want to dwell on MOND that in Milgrom's formulation seems to require an ad hoc adjustment of Newton's second law of motion. In the analysis here proposed, we want to show that the typical aspects of MOND formalism can be found with a different physical interpretation.

Abstract
One of themost interesting problemthat astronomy has given to theoretical physics is that of Dark Matter, invoked to explain the anomaly in the rotation curves of galaxies. Today, the most of astronomers think that each galaxy has a halo of Dark Matter and different theories, from particle physics to modified gravity, provide a theoretical explanation. Here we want to dwell on MOND that in Milgrom's formulation seems to require an ad hoc adjustment of Newton's second law of motion. In the analysis here proposed, we want to show that the typical aspects of MOND formalism can be found with a different physical interpretation.File in questo prodotto:
