Circular transition and knowledge push factor. e aim of this work is to identify which factor could contribute to overcoming the barriers to the circular economy. To this end, after the review of the critical literature on the topic, which highlights the weaknesses of the paradigm, the study explains the specific obstacles identified by the review of scientific studies and confirmed by direct observation. e transition requires the support of policy, industry and society, but the lack of a systemic knowledge strategy is the cause of the delay in circular conversion and the creation of a patchwork of fragmented initiatives, that can lead to territorial inequalities in the path of change.
