The main concepts of mechanics and electromagnetism in the framework of special relativity are reviewed. Relativistic kinematics is analyzed, by starting from the very beginning of the theory. The relativistic form of Newton’s laws is successively deduced. Finally, the transformation laws for forces and fields and the invariance of Maxwell equations under Lorentz transformations are reviewed.
