The intra-national mobility in higher education represents a relevant issue to be further investigated in order to discover the universities chosen by students to attend specific bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. The aim of the present contribution is to describe the main trajectories of mobility flows among Italian ge- ographical areas by highlighting also the usefulness of network analysis approach in dealing with different data structures. Data on four student cohorts are extracted from MOBYSU.IT database. The main findings confirm the attractiveness of North- ern universities as well as the South-to-North and the North-to-North student mo- bility trajectories.
