Abstract
After 50 years from the International Conference entitled La monetazione di bronzo di Poseidonia-Paestum, whose Proceedings constituted a real milestone, a balance on the data acquired and on the still open problems on the production of bronze coin of Poseidonia in the Greek and Lucanian period is here proposed. The large number of specimens coming from archaeological finds in the city and its territory constitutes a valid documentary basis for a re-examination, above all concerning the weight issues in relation to other Magna Graecia bronze coinages of IV and early III BC.File in questo prodotto:
