The impact the Corona pandemic had on literature is undeniable and certainly significant. Among the forms of expression which saw the light in this historical moment is the Corona diary, which will here be briefly analysed in its main aspects. The paper will focus, however, on Kathrin Röggla’s contribution to this new literary genre, considering in particular which type of events she decides to record and which creative devices the authoress employs.
