Web reputation, initially used in economics and marketing, has become relevant in studying the digital risk and platform societies, addressing identity, privacy, and online relationships. This work focuses on how Gen Z manages web reputation on social media, especially in relation to risks like cyberbullying, sexting, and privacy violations. Based on a survey of 500 young people in Campania, Italy, during the COVID-19 pandemic, it analyzes coping strategies and the role of family, school, and peers in mitigating online risks. The study links web reputation management to media education, exploring the balance between opportunities and risks online.

Abstract
