The requirement and urgency for integrating social and environmental issues into organizational activities and related business processes, calls for the need to deepen the topic of sustainability. For this end, among the 54 papers presented at EISIC 2023, 11 were selected as the most related to this topic. These papers were, then, improved considering sustainability issues and were submitted through the EquinOCS platform. Then, they were subjected to a double-blind peer-review process followed by a thorough meta-review. The papers included in this volume have been grouped into two main parts, discussing the topic of “sustainable management”: • Part 1: Societal and Corporate Sustainability Outcomes • Part 2: Operational and Tactical Sustainability Part 1 embraces first the concept of sustainability in its societal dimension for the well-being of communities, second focuses on the ability of organizations to pursue economic, social, and environmental objectives synergistically. Part 2 focuses on methods and tools of evaluation by analyzing existing practices implemented by organizations and their effects on resources management and sustainable performance.
