The essay aims to offer some food for thought on how the decentralised and reliable nature of innovative NFTs technology has seduced the healthcare system, whose increasing digitalisation, redefining the space in which actors and means move, has implemented the emphasis on the use of dematerialised health data, considered more suitable for improving forms of care, creating preventive tools for future pathologies and limiting the costs of access to healthcare. And in this sense, intercept hypotheses of democratisation of health data, grasping its potential, challenges and limitations, not without opening the dances with a brief reference to the notion of blockchain and the impact on health protection generated by recent advances in digital health.
