Abstract

The aim of the contribution is to analyse the relationship between health protection and new technologies. Specifically, it examines the gendered medicine approach in the broader context of personalised medicine together with the benefits brought about by digital transformation in order to show that the use of emerging technologies, in particular artificial intelligence, can not only improve the precision and effectiveness of treatments, but also contribute to the development of health policies that are more equitable and better able to respond to the specific needs of each individual, in accordance with the immanent principle of equality.
