The main aim of this chapter is to explore the interplay between migration and socio-ecological transformation, situating this study within the broader analysis of capitalist world-ecology and its fundamental logic as it has developed since 1492. The chapter is organized into five sections. The first section introduces the main content, methodology, and theoretical approach used in this study. The second section analyzes climate change, particularly its impact on habitability. The third section focuses on the current war regime and its consequences for migration. The fourth section examines structural and constitutive violence against migrant populations, particularly potential asylum seekers. Finally, the fifth section presents the conclusion, emphasizing the need to understand migration within these broader socio-ecological and historical frameworks to address the root causes of displacement.

Abstract
The main aim of this chapter is to explore the interplay between migration and socio-ecological transformation, situating this study within the broader analysis of capitalist world-ecology and its fundamental logic as it has developed since 1492. The chapter is organized into five sections. The first section introduces the main content, methodology, and theoretical approach used in this study. The second section analyzes climate change, particularly its impact on habitability. The third section focuses on the current war regime and its consequences for migration. The fourth section examines structural and constitutive violence against migrant populations, particularly potential asylum seekers. Finally, the fifth section presents the conclusion, emphasizing the need to understand migration within these broader socio-ecological and historical frameworks to address the root causes of displacement.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
