The essay discusses Boethius's theology as presented in the 'Opuscula Sacra'. Due to its intelligent use of sources, the number and depth of philosophical concepts employed, and, above all, its coherent, innovative and daring methodology, Boethius' theology is considered one of the most radical achievements in the entire first millennium of Western Latin theology. His stance can be considered a 'fusion' of Aristotelian and Augustinian ideas, in which theology, the highest science, is primarily explored through logic, whose classifying capacity is a reliable reflection of the order God has given to reality.

Abstract
The essay discusses Boethius's theology as presented in the 'Opuscula Sacra'. Due to its intelligent use of sources, the number and depth of philosophical concepts employed, and, above all, its coherent, innovative and daring methodology, Boethius' theology is considered one of the most radical achievements in the entire first millennium of Western Latin theology. His stance can be considered a 'fusion' of Aristotelian and Augustinian ideas, in which theology, the highest science, is primarily explored through logic, whose classifying capacity is a reliable reflection of the order God has given to reality.File in questo prodotto:
