Territori in transizione: il Cilento Interno tra invecchiamento della popolazione e svuotamento demografico

This study examines demographic dynamics and aging processes affecting the internal areas of Southern Italy, focusing on the Inner Cilento, one of the 7 pilot areas in Campania identified by the National Strategy for Internal Areas (SNAI). The analysis combines geostatistical methods, supported by thematic maps, with qualitative approaches, including in-depth interviews with seniors, to trace the history and memories of the places through their life experiences. The findings highlight the structural challenges these marginal territories are facing, as well as the transformations that have occurred in these peripheral areas.
