The growing focus on environmental sustainability and the adoption of Circular Economy (CE) models has highlighted the need for operational tools to monitor and manage environmental risks, especially in complex contexts such as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), considering their presence in the territory. Considering the weight of SMEs, both environmentally and economically, public agencies such as ARPA Campania (ARPAC), play a key role in environmental monitoring. For this reason, this paper describes the development of an Environmental Decision Support System (EDSS) to improve environmental monitoring of SMEs. The system is based on the implementation of a script in Python that allows the automation and analysis of the information collected, configuring itself as a flexible tool that can offer effective monitoring action and, at the same time, accompany SMEs toward greater environmental awareness, facilitating the adoption of practices consistent with the principles of the circular economy. Preliminary results highlight how the system's capabilities can identify companies at greater environmental risk at an early stage, prioritizing environmental control interventions.

Abstract
Preliminary results highlight how the system's capabilities can identify companies at greater environmental risk at an early stage, prioritizing environmental control interventions.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
