The purpose of the school must be sought in the Constitution, from which it emerges that personalism and equality—not merit—are the tracks on which the school runs. It is therefore useful to return to the Moro-Marchesi agenda to rediscover the school’s dual vocation: to educate and to instruct the younger generations.

Il fine della scuola va ricercato nella Costituzione, dalla quale emerge che il personalismo e l’eguaglianza, non il merito, siano i binari su cui viaggia la scuola. È utile, dunque, ripartire dall’ordine del giorno Moro-Marchesi per riscoprire la duplice vocazione della scuola: educare ed istruire le giovani generazioni.
