This paper performs a critical discourse analysis on comments in French referred to two influencers’ videos on TikTok. We focus especially on the intertwining of sexist, feminist, and anti-feminist discourse practices, highlighting a) the various semiotic means exploited (e.g. emojis, verbal memes) and b) the interaction of two communities of practice.
