It’s TEA-Time: Expressing Incomparable Unity Through Individuality

The Trajectory Equifinality Approach (TEA), by Jaan Valsiner and Tatsuya Sato, represents a central milestone for cultural psychology and for any related scientific discipline or approach. The potential of this approach is border-crossing, as it assesses individual life courses and thus opens up the space for the consideration of individuality rather than restricting itself to the urge of generalisation. Knowledge, just like the knowledge-carriers and knowledge-surfacers, is unique and dynamic—and through the TEA it has obtained the opportunity to unfold within it. The knowledge constructed within the cultural psychology of dynamic semiosis covers two important termini, the Trajectory Equifinality Approach and Trajectory Equifinality Modelling.
