The Near-Field - Far-Field (NF-FF) transformation technique with plane-rectangular scanning is undoubtedly the most simple and efficient one from the analytical and computational viewpoints. However, the antenna far field can be reconstructed only in a cone with an apex angle less than 180° unless repeating the measurements. Accordingly, such a scanning is particularly suitable for highly directive antennas radiating pencil beam patterns.

Abstract
The Near-Field - Far-Field (NF-FF) transformation technique with plane-rectangular scanning is undoubtedly the most simple and efficient one from the analytical and computational viewpoints. However, the antenna far field can be reconstructed only in a cone with an apex angle less than 180° unless repeating the measurements. Accordingly, such a scanning is particularly suitable for highly directive antennas radiating pencil beam patterns.File in questo prodotto:
